OEM Axle Shaft Retaining Clips: DSM

Genuine OEM parts.

These are the clips, located on the transmission (or differential) end of the axle shafts, that retain the axle in place.

According to Mitsu, these clips SHOULD be replaced anytime an axle is removed. We don't see the harm in re-using a clip as long as it's undamaged, but if yours IS damaged or missing . . .

The 1st choice In the drop-down (MB160387) fits the following applications:

• front right AWD (1990-99)
• front (both sides) FWD (1990-92.5)
• rear left (1990-99)
• rear right without LSD (1990-99)

The 2nd choice in the drop-down (MB620144) fits the following application:

• front (both sides) FWD (1992.5-99)

MB896917 has been discontinued by Mitsu and is no longer available. 
It fits the following application: rear right with LSD (1990-99).

NOTE: On AWD vehicles, there is no clip used on the driver's side front axle (the axle is retained by the axle bearing support which is fastened to the block).
