Jay Racing Alternator Relocation Modification Kit: DSM

This is the kit you'll need if you've got a Jay Racing Alternator Relocation Kit designed for use with a particular alternator (OEM or Saturn) and wish to switch to the other alternator.  (For example, you have an OEM alternator and wish to switch to the Saturn alternator, or have a Saturn alternator and wish to switch to the OEM alternator).

You can also use this kit to switch to a different vehicle:  from a 1g DSM to a 2g DSM or from a 2g DSM to a 1g DSM.

You can even do both: switch alternators and vehicles both!

The whole idea behind this kit is that there are several components in each Jay Racing Alt Relocation Kit that are unique to that particular kit.  Therefore, you can't just switch your kit from one vehicle to another or from one alternator to another.  Various specific components must also be changed.  That's what this kit does: provide you with the necessary components to change either the alternator or generation of DSM or both.

Here is some handy info if you're interested in building your own modification kit from individual components:

• all relocation kits use the same mounting bracket 
• each relocation kit uses it's own unique alternator tensioner arm (so the tensioner arm will need to be replaced regardless of the details of the "swap")
• the same alternator belt(s) are used for both 1g or both 2g relocation kits (so no need to change belt(s) unless you're changing the generation of DSM)
• hardware kits differ for both 1g relocation kits, but are the same for both 2g relocation kits
