DevilsOwn Progressive Methanol Injection Controllers

These controllers will work with virtually any setup, you don't need to have any other DevilsOwn components.  These controllers are useful for those who currently have a simple meth injection setup and wish to upgrade to the superior progressive system.

The simplest meth injection strategy involves turning on the pump (and spraying your meth) when a certain boost pressure is reached.  That is, no meth injection until a certain pressure is reached, and then full on thereafter.  With the progressive system, you set the pressure you wish to START spraying and also the pressure you want FULL spray.  In between these two settings the controller controls pump output to create a very linear response curve. (In fact, 5 increments per each psi, resulting in very smooth control).

Each progressive system includes a controller with two setting knobs: one to set spray start (at 15% duty cycle) and the other to set spray full (100% duty cycle).  The controller is wired into a MAP sensor (either your vehicle's MAP sensor (whether stock or aftermarket) or in some cases, the MAP included with the controller) and uses this signal to determine boost pressure.

The general operation is as follows:

• unit will read dial settings and calculate slope of progressive control
• MAP voltage is read and converted to a boost value
• pump duty cycle is calculated based on dial settings and slope
• when boost PSI reaches the START setting, pump will come on at 15% duty cycle
• it ramps up to 100% as boost approaches FULL setting

Several controllers are available:

2.5 bar controller
Reads the pressure signal from a 2.5 bar MAP sensor.  (MAP sensor not included).

3 bar controller
Reads the pressure signal from a 3 bar MAP sensor.  (MAP sensor not included).

Voltage controller
Similar to the bar controllers above except that instead of using the adjustment knobs to select boost pressure for start and full spray, voltages (between 0 and 5v) are selected instead. The voltage source is usually from the vehicle's stock MAP (though it can be from other sensors as well, depending on your setup).

DVC-30 controller
Similar to above controllers, except that it has a boost sensor built into the controller, so there's no need to purchase a separate MAP.  Good for up to 30psi.
