RTM M14x2.0 Taps

These taps are used to tap M14x2.0 threads into an appropriate sized hole.  The theoretical "proper" size hole for an M14x2.0 tap is 12mm (0.472").  We recommend a 15/32 drilled hole for use with this tap.

These taps are most frequently used to tap one of the caliper mounting holes on a DSM knuckle when upgrading the front brakes with the EVO 5-9 (Brembo) Front Brake Upgrade.  As it happens, the caliper mounting holes on the knuckle of a DSM are just slightly larger than 12mm.  This is perfectly acceptable.
