RTM Upgraded Fuel Feed Line Kit (-6AN from Rail to AFPR): DSM/EVO

This kit allows you to easily install an aftermarket AFPR (adjustable fuel pressure regulator) into your DSM.

For those unaware, an AFPR is a very useful item to have with just about any upgraded fuel system. In the case of an upgraded fuel pump, an AFPR is often necessary to adjust fuel pressure DOWN to stock levels if the stock regulator is unable to handle the volume. (This condition is known as "overrunning" the stock regulator). An AFPR also allows greater "tuneability" since it gives you control of another tuning parameter: fuel pressure. The kit can be purchased without an AFPR (for those that already have one) or you can source a Fuelab unit (which are available in several colours) elsewhere.  A fuel pressure gauge that mounts on the regulator body is also available with the kit.

The kit includes the following:

• 18" of hose (in the style of your choice)
• RTM's own fuel rail outlet adapter fitting (w/stainless bolts)
• two 90-degree hose ends (in colour of your choice): one for the rail outlet, one for the AFPR inlet
• fittings for Fuellab AFPR: fitting for the inlet port, plug for the extra inlet port, fitting for the outlet port
• pressure gauge is available as an option

NOTE: One of the prompts in the drop-down menus below asks which style of fuel rail you have on your vehicle. This is because the fuel rail outlet adapter fitting can differ depending on which fuel rail you have. We should point out that it's not important the model year of your car or even the model year of your engine, but rather, the style of FUEL RAIL in your vehicle. This is noteworthy in this era where engine swaps and components swaps are common. It should also be noted that we are providing only the fuel rail adapter fitting that's appropriate to your vehicle, NOT the fuel rail itself.

NOTE: All kits include all the fittings necessary to plumb in a Fuellab AFPR with -6AN ports.(whether the AFPR is included with the kit or not).  If you are using this kit for an AFPR that includes ports that are NOT -6AN, you may need additional fittings to accomodate your setup.

NOTE: Pressure gauges are designed to thread into a 1/8 NPT port on the front of the AFPR. For more details and photos of the AFPR and pressure gauges please refer to the "Related products" section near the bottom of the page.

NOTE: The fitting for the outlet of the AFPR is available either to plumb into your stock rubber return line (which is 8mm), or for -6AN return line running back to the tank. In either case, this kit includes the fittings only, not the actual return lines.

NOTE: Hose ends for pushlock hose NOT available in silver.

NOTES on E85 and other HIGH-ALCOHOL CONTENT FUEL: The only style of hose we feel comfortable recommending for use with E85 fuel and other high-alcohol content fuel is Teflon-lined braided hose. Our research has indicated to us that other materials (like various synthetic rubbers, which are found in nearly every other type of hose) may or may not be alcohol friendly (depending largely on the exact chemical composition of the hose).
