Glowshift Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter (For Plumbing Oil Press/Temp Sender Ports)

This adapter plate makes installing oil pressure and oil temperature senders easy. This plate attaches to your oil filter housing in the exact same way as your oil filter does, then your oil filter attaches to the adapter plate. (This adapter plate is referred to as a "sandwich" plate due to its location "sandwiched" between your filter and filter housing.)

The adapter plate has four 1/8 NPT fittings to accomodate up to four pressure/temperature senders. Includes an adapter fitting (M20x1.5) that threads between your filter housing and filter, a sealing gasket which seals the connection between the plate and filter housing, four 1/8 NPT plugs, and installation instructions.  It should be noted that the adapter fitting (M20x1.5) is a match for the thread found on all DSM/EVO oil filters and oil filter housings.

This adapter can accommodate an oil filter diameter from 2.25 to 3 inches.  That is, the diameter of the sealing gasket of your oil filter must be within that range.  (That would cover virtually any stock-size oil filter on the market today).

To install:

• remove your oil filter
• place the sandwich plate against the filter housing (where the oil filter would have been)
• thread the adapter fitting thru the sandwich plate and onto the threads of your filter housing (in much the same way as you'd install your oil filter)
• screw your oil filter onto the sandwich plate.

It's that simple! You now have four 1/8 NPT sender ports available to use. Simply plug any unused ports with the included plugs and voila!

DSMers TAKE NOTE: On vehicles that use the water-cooled oil cooler (located at the filter housing), since this adapter plate moves your filter outward the thickness of the plate, there may be little or no room bewteen your downpipe and filter. (This depends on the location/orientation of your downpipe, etc). If there are fitment issues, we recommend replacing your filter housing with one of the non-water cooled styles of filter housing (which we carry elsewhere on the site).
