OEM Rear Axle Outboard Flange Fasteners: 1g DSM

These are the components that attach the rear axle outboard flange to the companion flange at the rear trailing arm/wheel bearing area. The companion flange is often referred to as the "outer cup". Depending on the style of rear axle on your vehicle, there will be either three bolts or four bolts per axle connecting the outboard and companion flanges together. Incidently, for those interested in a bit of DSM trivia, the number of bolts found in this area is the source of the expression "3-bolt" or "4-bolt" rear end.

Each axle flange fastener assembly is comprised of the following:
MB160664 (bolt)
MS450043 (lock washer)
MU430002 (nut)

For each 3-bolt flange, 3 of the above assemblies are used and for each 4-bolt flange, 4 or the above assemblies are used.
