Genuine OEM part.

This is the o-ring that seals the connection of the water pipe to an inlet on the thermostat housing.  It is used on EVO 7 and EVO 9.  It is NOT used on EVO 8 as the water pipe is different.

EVO (VII)
EVO (IX).
