OEM Control Arm, 3g Tubular Rear Lower (LH): 2g DSM/3g Eclipse

This control arm, which came stock on the 3g Eclipse, is made of tubular steel. As it happens, it is a direct fit for a 2g DSM. As you can imagine, this tubular arm is considerably stronger than the stamped steel unit that came stock on the 2g. This control arm is for the left side.

NOTE: It should be noted that even though this control arm will fit a 2g DSM without modification, the attachment point for the sway bar end link differs between 2g and 3g lower control arms, therefore, the stock 2g sway bar will NOT work with this arm without some kind of modification/customization to the links/bar/LCA's. However, there is a very simple alternative: use a 3g sway bar and 3g sway bar end link! It's that simple. In fact, RTM sells a complete kit that includes everything you need to upgrade to the 3g control arms. For details, please refer to the "Related products" link near the bottom of the page.
