This is a special OEM nut designed to withstand the extreme heat and heat cycling of a turbocharged exhaust. It has a special locking design to ensure it does not come loose with repeated heat cycling and vibrations.  This is a 12mm nut used to fasten the downpipe flange to the O2 housing outlet studs (MD089315).

Specs: M12x1.25, peened lock nut.
