This is the large circular-shaped piece that sits between the rear knuckle and the rear brakes (on the right side). It is a structural member that contains the mounting point for the rear caliper, mounting points for various parking brake components, an anchoring point for the parking brake cable and the outer circumference provides the dust shield for the rear rotor.
