OEM Shifter Pivot Bushings Kit: 1g DSM/Galant

Genuine OEM parts.

These are the stock plastic bushings found on the various pivot points of the cockpit gear shifter. (Just to clarify, this is the shifter (with the 1-3-5/2-4-R knob) located in the centre console between the seats, NOT the shifter arm(s) located on top of the transmission).  If these get worn, they introduce a lot of slop in your shifter.  Replace with new and firm things up!

For 1g DSMs/Galant, Mitsu changed the design of the shifter assembly a couple of times.  As a result, things got a bit complicated.  The table below gives the bushings needed for the various model years:

MB580253:

• 6 are used for 1990 model year shifter assembly
• 4 are used for 1991 model year shifter assembly

MB367320 (no longer have stock):

• 2 are used for 1991 model year shifter assembly
• 6 are used for 1992-94 model years shifter assembly

For your convenience, we offer a full kit of 6 bushings for each of the above model years.  No need to translate the table above, you just need to know the model year of your car and we'll take care of the rest.  Each bushing can also be purchased individually in any quantity you wish.

NOTE: The bushing per model year table above is valid for the relevant model year DSM as well as Galant.
