StopTech Slotted Rotors for DSM Single-Piston Front Brakes: DSM

These rotors are slotted and have a black (or gold) zinc coating to prevent corrosion.
They fit any DSM with DSM single-piston front calipers.
They are 256mm in diameter.

NOTE: Single-piston front calipers came stock on all FWD DSMs from 1990-99. They were also stock on AWD models until midway through the 1992 model year. However, because upgrading to dual-piston calipers was such an improvement in braking performance and because it was so simple and inexpensive it was (and still is) a popular upgrade for DSMs.

This is noteworthy because there are doubtless many DSMs on the road today whose actual front calipers won't match the year/drivetrain of the vehicle. How can you be sure of which calipers you have? If you did an upgrade yourself, of course, you know. If not, the only way to be sure is by looking at the calipers. Distinguishing between single-piston and dual-piston calipers is fairly simple, but if you're unsure, contact RTM.

NOTES on
StopTech / Centric / PowerSlot brand names:
Some time ago, StopTech became one of the leaders in the brake industry when they bought out several big-name brands, most notably Centric and PowerSlot.  At that point, the Centric and PowerSlot brand names were replaced with StopTech.  Of course, there may still exist rotors whose packaging will have the "Centric" or "PowerSlot" names on them, but the part number will reference a StopTech part.  We mention all of this to inform you that you may receive a StopTech rotor in a "Centric" or "PowerSlot" box.
