TechnaFit Stainless Braided Clutch Line: 2g DSM

These lines will eliminate the "ballooning" associated with worn out stock rubber lines. This commonly occurs right after installing an upgraded clutch.

The stock system is made up of a combination of hard metal lines beginning at the master and terminating at a flexible rubber line at the slave. This is a perfectly adequate setup as long as everything stays fresh and new. Introduce a small dose of reality (with such unpleasantnesses as corrosion to the hard lines, corroded fittings, rounded off flare nuts, etc, etc) and this idyllic setting disappears. All this unpleasantness can disappear in one easy step. Replace EVERYTHING with this beautiful piece. When you're done, you'll have only two fittings: one at each end. As for corrosion--everything is stainless, so you can kiss that worry goodbye too. Install this piece now and you'll never have to touch your clutch line again. ('Course, clutches still wear out, masters and slaves still wear out, etc. Did we mention we carry all those things as well?)

You also have the option of replacing only the stock short rubber line just upstream from the slave cylinder.

Either way, this is an excellent item to replace at the same time as a clutch install, and includes all necessary hardware.

NOTE: Both the complete line and the short line bypasses the clutch line damper (a cylindrical component mounted on the front of the tranny). According to Mitsu, the damper (sometimes called an accumulator) is supposed to make the act of pressing the clutch pedal more "gentle" by acting as a buffer between the pedal and the slave cylinder. In our opinion, if you don't want to feel something mechanical is actually taking place when you press your clutch pedal, you might want to consider an auto tranny or perhaps a vehicle with less than 100hp! We'll let you make that call.
