Okay, we're not going to beat about the bush: THIS IS NOT A GENUINE BORG-WARNER TURBO. This turbo is what's known in the business as a "knock off".

In short: the physical specifications of this turbo are similar to the genuine Borg-Warner unit and therefore all performance characteristics (flow rates, spoolup, etc) will be similar as well.
