CV Boot Clamp Install Tools

These are the special tools needed to install most CV boot clamps. There are three different tools. Two are used for the "ear style" boot clamps and the other for "non-ear style" boot clamps. We also offer a removal tool for ear style clamps.

The tool for the ear style clamps acts similar to a pair of pliers and grabs the little folded protrusions (or "ears") and pinches them tighter (while pushing the ear flat). The tool for the non-ear style clamps pulls the free end of the strap tightly and a special cutter on the tool is used to trim the excess length.
