Exedy Stage 1 Organic Clutch Kits: EVO 4-9

Exedy racing clutches are engineered, designed and built from the ground up as race clutches, not rebuilt from stock clutches that have been modified.

These clutch kits are best suited to a modestly-powered vehicle that sees mostly street use with occasional light track duty. The pressure plate gives about 30% greater clamping force than stock and the full-face organic disc gives smooth engagement. All Exedy racing pressure plates are made from ductile iron which is about 30-40% stronger than conventional cast iron pressure plates. Pedal effort is slightly higher than stock.

Comes complete with: pressure plate, clutch disc, throw-out bearing, alignment tool.

This clutch kit is available in standard and heavy-duty. As the name implies, the heavy-duty clutch can handle more power than the standard with slightly higher pedal effort.

Torque capacity:
339 ft/lbs for standard.
402 ft/lb for heav-duty.

NOTE: This clutch kit will work with EVO 7-9 without issues, however, for EVO 4-6 the clutch must be used with an Exedy MF04 flywheel (details can be found in the "Related products" link near the bottom of the page).

Applications:
EVO (IV-VI) must be used with Exedy MF04 flywheel.
EVO (VII-IX) 5 & 6-speed.
