OEM Oil Squirters: 2g DSM

Genuine OEM parts.

We carry 3 different OEM oil squirters for 2g DSMs: 6-bolt DSM-style for 6-bolt blocks (MD329806), EVO-style for 6-bolt blocks (MN143460) and 2g DSM style for stock 2g blocks (MD109259).

The EVO-style squirters are slightly shorter and angled slightly differently than the DSM-style ones. As a result, there's extra piston clearance for certain applications. For example, many aftermarket pistons (especially forged) have piston skirt designs that would interfere with the DSM-style squirters.

There are two different style of oil squirter (sometimes called an oil jet): the style used in a 6-bolt & EVO blocks, and the style used in the stock 2g block.

The 6-bolt/EVO style is comprised of two main components:
1) squiter body--directs oil toward the underside of the piston.
2) banjo check valve--a specialized banjo bolt (which contains a check valve) that delivers oil to the squirter body when a specific oil pressure is reached.
The entire assembly is sealed with a pair of crush washers (MF660034x2) The same crush washers are used for both styles.

Each squirter is held in place by the banjo check valve which threads into the block (MD050249 for 6-bolt DSM-style squirter body or MD372046 for EVO-style squirter body). The squirter body also contains a pin which locates it in a precise orientation in the block. These crush washers are included with the banjo bolt/check valve, whether new squirters are ordered or not.

The stock 2g style is made up of a single component: the squirter itself. The body of the squirter is a precise size that presses into a matching hole in the block. The squirter also contains a check valve within its body.

NOTE: Even though both the DSM-style and EVO-style squirters can be used in a 6-bolt block, all the components are NOT interchangeable. For example, DSM squirter bodies should be matched to DSM banjo check valves and EVO squirter bodies should be matched to EVO banjo check valves. DSM and EVO components should NOT be interchanged. This is due to the slight differences in squirter body thickness between the two styles.
