Tokico Illumina Adjustable Shocks ("Whites"): 2g DSM

If you've lowered your DSM with lowering springs, depending on the amount of drop, the shortened piston throw may be outside the efficiency range of the stock shocks. In addition to giving a less than desirable ride, the extra stress on them can lead to premature failure.

Tokico Illumina Adjustable Shocks (or "Tokico Whites" as they are affectionately known) are designed to handle a greater range of travel than the OEM units. In addition, the dampening rate of the shocks are adjustable to accomodate the different levels of "stiffness" desired as the ride height changes. Keep in mind, that when the ride height of a vehicle changes (from lowering springs for example) the suspension geometry and overall ride characteristics can change as well. The adjustability of Illuminas allows you to experiment with the various settings to find the exact ride characteristics you desire. Of course, these settings can be changed for different conditions: street/track, summer/winter, etc.

Illuminas have 5 adjustment settings (which are accessed via the top of the shock) that can be changed with a small flat-blade screwdriver. No special tools required, no need to jack up the vehicle, no springs to re-compress, etc. Super easy!
