-AN Male to Metric Male (Aluminum)

These fittings have one end -AN male and the other end male metric thread. The ends are at a straight orientation to each other. Made of aluminum with an anodized finish. The metric thread end seals with a crush washer (which is included).

DSMers TAKE NOTE: The OEM oil filter bracket housings that have provision for an air-to-air style oil cooler came with M16x1.5 female on the inlet and outlet ports. Therefore, the M16x1.5 male to -AN adapters can be used to plumb -AN lines to/from the filter housing. (This is only one of the components needed.  RTM carries several oil cooler  kits.  For details, please refer to the separate entry elsewhere on the site).

DSMers TAKE NOTE: The air-to-air oil cooler that came stock on 1990 model year DSMs has M16x1.5 female ports.  Therefore, M16x1.5 male to -AN adapters can be used to plumb -AN lines to/from the oil cooler.

DSMers TAKE NOTE: The top of the stock fuel filter (which is the outlet) is M12x1.25 female. Therefore, the M12x1.25 male to -AN adapter can be used to run -AN lines from the stock filter to the fuel rail. (This is only one of the components needed. RTM carries a variety of complete fuel line upgrade kits. For details, please refer to the separate entry elsewhere in the site).

DSMers TAKE NOTE: The bottom of the stock fuel filter (which is the inlet) is M14x1.5 female. Therefore, the M14x1.5 male to -AN adapter can be used to run -AN lines from your fuel pump to the stock filter. (This is only one of the components needed. RTM carries a variety of fuel line upgrade kits. For details, please refer to the separate entry elsewhere in the site).

DSMers TAKE NOTE: The A/T oil cooler ports on a DSM auto transmission are M12x1.25 female.  Therefore, the M12x1.25 male to -AN adapter can be used to run -AN lines to/from a tranny oil cooler. (This is only one of the components needed.  RTM carries several auto transmission oil cooler  kits.  For details, please refer to the separate entry elsewhere on the site).
