OEM 3g Tubular Rear Lower Control Arms: 2g DSM/3g Eclipse

These control arms, which came stock on the 3g Eclipse, are made of tubular steel. As it happens, they are a direct fit for a 2g DSM. As you can imagine, these tubular arms are considerably stronger than the stamped steel units that came stock on the 2g.

NOTE: It should be noted that even though these control arms will fit a 2g DSM without modification, the attachment points for the sway bar end links differ between 2g and 3g lower control arms, therefore, the stock 2g sway bar will NOT work with these arms without some kind of modification/customization to the links/bar/LCA's. However, there is a very simple alternative: use a 3g sway bar and 3g sway bar end links! It's that simple. In fact, RTM sells a complete kit that includes everything you need to upgrade to the 3g control arms. For details, please refer to the separate entry elsewhere on the site.
