These are the fasteners that attach the oil strainer/oil pickup tube to the oil pump housing on the engine's front cover.
The two bolts (with lock washers) attach the tube directly, while the nut (with lock washer) attach the support brace to a protruding stud on one of the main bearing caps.

Applications:
DSM (1990-99).
EVO (I-III).
