OmniPower Mitsu-Style MAP Sensors: 2g DSM/EVO

These MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensors are used for any application that requires access to the intake manifold's pressure. The most common examples are those running standalone, speed density, a meth injection system, etc that require a pressure signal. These sensors calculate pressure on a true linear 0-5 volt scale and also compensate for temperature changes. They are a minimum of 99% accurate from 32F to 180F throughout their entire pressure range. With the true linear pressure vs. voltage scale there is never a need to re-tune at different altitudes or temperatures.

These sensors are designed to replace the OEM MDP sensor (on a 2g DSM or EVO) and are bolted to the intake manifold in the same way and at the same location as the original OEM sensor. In addition, these sensors are designed to plug directly into the OEM connector: total plug & play with no need to splice wires.

For those who do not have a 2g or EVO intake manifold the use of an MDP adapter will be required to plumb the sensor into your manifold (for details, refer to the "Related products" section near the bottom of the page).  For your convenience, sensors are available with the adapter as a complete kit.

Below is the pressure range of available sensors:

• 4 bar: up to 43psi
• 5 bar: up to 58psi

NOTE: This sensor is not really suitable for use in a 1g DSM since 1g's will not have a wiring connector to connect to the sensor.  In such a case, a 2g connector would have to be sourced and hardwired into the 1g harness, or else the sensor would have to be hardwired directly.  For 1g's we recommend one of the GM-style sensors.  For details, please refer to the "Related products" section near the bottom of the page.
