Okay, we're not going to beat about the bush: THIS IS NOT A GENUINE GARRETT TURBO.

This turbo is what's known in the business as a "knock off". In short: the physical specifications of this turbo are identical to the genuine Garrett unit and therefore all performance characteristics (flow rates, spoolup, etc) should be the same as the Garrett unit.
