EZ Bend Flexible Metal Brake Line

The facts are indisputable: DSMs/EVOs are getting up there in age. Corrosion on various components is inevitable and brake lines are no exception. Have you been putting off replacing your hard metal brake lines because you know it's a pain in the butt? In most cases, Mitsu has stopped making the replacement hard lines and as existing inventory shrinks, you're apparently left with one option: buy a roll of the hard brake tubing and "build" your own lines. Talk about a serious pain in the butt! Not only do you have to bend them in all sorts of convoluted ways, but you've got to flare the ends as well. Most guys throw in the towel and take it to a shop to tackle. Can you say big bucks? Yes, a shop is going to have to charge big bucks 'cause it takes so long and is so much trouble.

There is an alternative, however. This roll of metal brake tubing is made of a special alloy that is not only extremely corrosion resistant but is also flexible enough to be bent by hand! Yes, you heard correctly: by hand. (It isn't called EZ Bend for nothing!) No need to use those tube bender contraptions. Also, this alloy is MUCH easier to flare with a flaring tool (both because the material is softer and because it won't become "work hardened" like steel lines do).

This line is 3/16" (4.8mm) OD.
