OEM Battery Hold Down J-Bolt Assembly: 2g DSM

This is the so-called "J-bolt" that holds down the battery to the tray it rests on. The assembly is comprised of a J-bolt, a washer and a nut. The "J" shaped end of the bolt hooks into a hole on the edge of the battery tray. The other end of this bolt is threaded and passes through a hole in the tie-down bar that runs across the top of the battery. The washer and nut are tightened down and help retain the whole assembly. Parts are not available individually, but are sold as a complete assembly only.
