Weld Bungs (Stainless)

We carry a number of stainless steel weld bungs for many applications. Available in NPT and straight metric. These bungs are used in applications where the object to be welded to is steel (most types of steel--including non-stainless). Steel, however, cannot be welded to aluminum. If you wish to weld a bung to aluminum you must use an aluminum bung (which we also carry, for details please refer to the "Related products" section near the bottom of the page).

These bungs can be used virtually anywhere a bung is required:
- gauge sensors & probes (wideband, water temp, oil pressure, oil temp, EGT, etc)
- various custom applications such as turbo oil return lines, coolant lines, etc
- engine management sensors

Some specific examples of use:
- 1/8 NPT: most EGT probes
- 1/8 NPT: most meth nozzles
- O2 sensor bung: used for any O2 sensor with a M18x1.5 thread (either wideband or narrowband)
