RTM Manual Boost Controller

This looks like one of a number of "home-made" style MBC's, but looks can be deceiving: this one's got a number of special modifications "under the hood" as they say.

This is a ball-and-spring style manual boost controller. What's so special about that you ask? Well, in and of itself, nothing. But we here at RTM Racing don't like settling for "good enough", so we decided to closely examine the inner workings and design principles behind this apparently simple device, and re-design it to our own standards. The end result? In our opinion, one of the better MBC's you're likely to find. In terms of value for the money, we feel this MBC is without equal.

Now, we don't have a fancy schmancy laboratory, but with our relatively simple test setup, this boost controller has held to over 45 psi without issue! This MBC doesn't exhibit some of the adjustment imprecision common in other MBC's. It's rock solid. Comes with installation instructions and cable wraps (zip ties) for mounting. Also available with a CERAMIC ball in place of the stainless ball. This should be even quicker responding!!

NOTE: The size of vacuum hose to be plumbed into this MBC is 4mm.
