This rad cap holds pressure to 1.3 bar or 19psi. That's considerably more pressure than the stock rad cap can hold (most are rated at about 12-13psi). This means two things: your cooling system can run higher temperatures without dumping coolant into the overflow and with the stronger cap, there's far less chance of getting air into your system. Both of these features translate into a better performing cooling system.
