Eclipse / Talon / Laser
The Mitsubishi Eclipse existed for model years 1990-1999 and the Eagle Talon existed for model years 1990-1998. Both were produced under a joint Mitsubishi/Chrysler venture called Diamond Star Motors (or DSM for short). DSM produced three vehicles: Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon and Plymouth Laser. All three of these vehicles are mechanically identical. For example, a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse turbo AWD is the same as a 1993 Eagle Talon turbo AWD and the same as a 1993 Plymouth Laser turbo AWD. The only differences are cosmetic (things such as aero parts, bumper covers, badging and the like).
In order to avoid unnecessary duplication in our webstore, we've chosen to list all parts for all three DSM vehicles under:
MITSUBISHI > DSM
and within DSM the breakdown is by generation:
1g (1990-94 model years)
2g (1995-99 model years)
2g non-turbo (1995-99 model years)
